The 2012 Cellar Door Wine Festival – Adelaide, held at the Convention Centre, will include the first ever SA King Prawn & White Wine Showcase master classes, of which will pair Spencer Gulf King Prawn tasting dishes to a selection of the state’s finest white wines. 

Celeb Chef Simon Bryant, previously of Hilton Adelaide Grange Restaurant and co-host of ABC’s popular series “The Cook & The Chef” with Maggie Beer, has been recruited to host the master classes, alongside Wine Australia’s Aaron Brasher.

Master class participants will be treated to an interactive tasting experience, where they will see, smell and taste their way through tantalising Prawn dishes prepared in situ by Simon. Participants will also walk away with practical white wine matching know-how, as six South Australian wines are showcased alongside the dishes, expertly guided by Aaron Brasher.

The SA King Prawn & White Wine Showcase master classes are part of the Cellar Door Wine Festival – Adelaide, now in its second year of running. The Festival brings together 12 iconic South Australian wine regions under one roof in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, where event goers can enjoy tastings from more than 150 wineries.
