The 4th Annual Wine Bloggers Conference starts in Virginia today with keynote speaker Jancis Robinson.
Wine bloggers from around the US have descended on the university town of Charlottesville, Virginia for the 4th Annual Wine Bloggers Conference. Festivities kicked off last night with a small international tasting with the "main event" starting today with a keynote speech from Jancis Robinson, a series of break-out sessions and a live wine blogging session. Tomorrow sees New York Times wine writer Eric Asimov take to the podium, Virginia winery visits and the Wine Bloggers Awards ceremony.
Charlottesville is a gorgeous setting, albeit it a very warm one as a heatwave grips the east coast of the US with temperatures soaring into the high 90s and 100s... what on earth did we ever do before air-conditioning!?
You can keep up-to-date with what's happening at the conference on Twitter by following @Wine_Australia and #WBC11.
