Wine Australia are sole wine sponsors of a series of outdoor concerts by the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn, NY. These shows draw some big artists and crowds to Brooklyn against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.
The summer has well and truly started in NYC, with A+ Australian Wines sponsoring a series of outdoor summer concerts on the Williamsburg Waterfront (Brooklyn). This is the 3rd consecutive year that Wine Australia has been the sole wine sponsor of this concert series and the shows this year are as big as ever. 100% of profits from wine sales go directly to OSA's park developments and greening of the urban landscape in Brookln.
So far, Thievery Corporation, Kid Cudi and Death From Above 1979 have hit the stage in Brooklyn and tonight Stone Temple Pilots perform against the amazing backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. Luckily the weather seems to have eased off following a week of sweltering temperatures over 100F (Friday's show was 105F or 39C), but at least we have some great chilled Australian wine to help everyone cool off.
The rest of the summer line-up includes: Death Cab For Cutie, Sonic Youth, Bright Eyes, TV On The Radio, Widespread Panic and Fleet Foxes. If you're in NYC, make sure you check out the events page and come along and enjoy some great music and wonderful wine!
